Confession

Sometimes its hard for me to stop making character profiles and realize that everyone thinks and acts more or less, like I do. Its tough for me to see vulnerable people like myself, instead of characters in my game of life. I will change this.

P.S. I will stop this personal idea crap and post more art and design.

Summer Iron Pour

This Summer, OU Sculpure offered its first casting class via Mike Hill and Alex Knox, two of the contemporary sculpture grad students. Mike and Alex Knox worked their buts off all summer building the furnace and getting the class off the ground. My roommate Brandon Johnson was in the class, andĀ  so I went out to take pictures. And I am not 100% sure, but I heard that there will be a casting show in the Lightwell Gallery this fall. Anyway, I hope they keep it up, as I look forward to take a casting class in the future.

guillotine

Just went to Sooner Surplus (OU property control) and purchased a giant guillotine paper cutter. It has a great butcher block platform, that I likeĀ  much better than the metal bases of modern cutters. Anyway, I love shopping for vintage/used stuff. And we found a giant 30ft chalkboard, that believe Lacie and Cathy should by for their apartment. (we could use it on Chinese night)
